Royal Blade 216 – Daily Weapon Gem for February 25, 2013

Good morning, Orbitars! Here’s today’s Daily Weapon Gem from Palutena.

Royal Blade — Value 216
Ranged 2, Melee 3
Burning +2, Standing ch. shot +2, In-peril autododge +1

This Royal Blade is actually very good for its value, with (relatively) strong Ranged and Melee scores coupled with a few decent modifiers. Burning +2 is quite nice for any weapon (as most status effects are), and In-peril autododge +1 is a nice boost, even if it is slight. Unfortunately, Standing ch. shot +2 probably won’t be very good, as you’ll rarely be standing still (and the Royal Blade’s best charge shot is its backward-dash charge shot, making this modifier somewhat wasted). If you are interested in this Royal Blade, you can convert it into a weapon for 11,000 hearts. If not, you can always grind it up for 108 hearts.

Royal Blade 265 – Daily Weapon Gem for January 2, 2013

Hello again, Orbitars! I’m back from my holiday break, and hopefully we’ll be able to go back and post some of the old Daily Gems (or at the very least, find a link to them)! Here’s today’s weapon, and it’s pretty good:

Royal Blade — Value 265
Ranged 3.5, Melee 2.5
Dash cont. fire +4, Knockback recovery +1, Heart bonus +3

This Royal Blade has some great modifiers, with the awesome Dash cont. fire +4 combined with the always-good Heart bonus +3. Ranged 3.5 is fairly good on its own, and Melee 2.5 is somewhat average. Overall, this is quite a nice weapon that’s worth using in combat or as a great fusion starting point. It costs 28,300 hearts to convert into a weapon, or can be ground up for 209 hearts.

Hello, everyone! Here’s today’s Daily Weapon Gem.

Royal Blade — Value 255
Ranged 2.5, Melee 1
Health +3, Stamina +3, Standing ch. shot +2, Standing cont. fire +2, Knockback recovery +1

This Royal Blade has great Health and Stamina modifiers, making it a good defensive weapon. The other modifiers are decent as well, though once again, Standing cont. fire and Standing ch. shot are once again less useful in Together mode. If you want this Royal Blade, you can convert this gem into the weapon for 21,700 hearts. You can also fuse it, or grind it up for 183 hearts.
